**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of all ingredients.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Must hold a valid work permit
- Must hold a MAPAQ certificate

**Responsabilités**:
- Préparer et cuisiner les plats du menu selon les recettes et les normes de présentation.
- S'assurer que tous les aliments sont préparés dans les délais pour répondre à la demande de service.
- Maintenir la propreté et l'organisation de la cuisine, y compris les postes de travail et les zones de stockage.
- Suivre les procédures de manipulation des aliments afin d'assurer la sécurité et la qualité de tous les ingrédients.
- Collaborer avec les autres membres de l'équipe de cuisine pour assurer un fonctionnement fluide pendant les heures de service.
- Respecter toutes les réglementations sanitaires et de sécurité, y compris les pratiques de désinfection appropriées.
**Compétences**:
- Une solide connaissance des techniques de manipulation des aliments, de préparation et des équipements de cuisine.
- Capacité à travailler efficacement sous pression tout en maintenant une attention particulière aux détails.
- Connaissance des normes et réglementations de sécurité alimentaire dans l'industrie de la restauration.

- Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience.
- Doit détenir un permis de travail valide.
- Doit avoir un certificat MAPAQ
