**Job Title**: Admissions Coordinator

Location: Calgary, AB
Type: Full-Time Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00 annually

**Role Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Admissions Process Management:

- Oversee and manage the entire admissions process for prospective students.
- Coordinate and schedule prospective students contract signing
- Collaborate with other departments to gather required documents and information for enrollment.

Student Counseling and Support:

- Provide guidance and counseling to prospective students throughout the admissions process.
- Answer inquiries and provide accurate information about the college's programs, admission requirements, tuition fees, financial aid, and other relevant information.
- Assist students in identifying and selecting suitable programs that align with their career goals and interests.
- Address concerns and resolve issues raised by prospective students or their families.

Enrollment and Registration:

- Facilitate the enrollment process, ensuring all necessary documentation and forms are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines, secure student signatures (witness) on Ministry approved contracts.
- Maintain student records and ensure data integrity in the student information system.
- Collaborate with the College’s signing authority, to ensure a smooth transition from admission to registration.
- Coordinate with other college departments to ensure students receive necessary information about orientation, course schedules, and any additional requirements should questions arise from students
- Create the enrollment information on the New Student Report, Ensure all data is up to date and correct in real time.
- Attend and participate in NSR meetings.
- Complete Agency Agreements once approved by Sr. management. Upload agency agreements to common drive, add to tracker and MCL Agents list.

Admissions Policies and Compliance:

- Stay up to date with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to admissions in Alberta's private career college sector.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards in the admissions process.
- Collaborate with the college administration and academic departments to review and update admissions policies as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Collect and analyze admissions data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for increased enrollment.
- Prepare regular reports on admissions statistics, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics for the Sr. VP of admissions.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend strategies for optimizing the admissions process and achieving enrollment targets.

Professional Development and Training:

- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in admissions and student recruitment.
- Participate in professional development activities, conferences, and workshops related to admissions and enrollment management.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 Years of proven experience in customer service or administration with experience in collaboration, communication and direct relations with external clients (students).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience in Microsoft Suite. Experience in Google Workspace is considered an asset.
