This is an exiting employment opportunity for a self motivated, conscientious individual who thrives in a fast paced work environment with a variety of duties and supportive team members. Regional Recycling is looking for a Lead Hand. This position reports to onsite Supervisor and works alongside other Lead Hands. Safely processing customers materials for reuse and ensuring quality control is a high priority along with transporting materials efficiently and responsibly are part of Regional Recycling's contribution to the green economy in BC and Canada's commitments on climate change.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reporting to the Supervisor.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Fulfill our customers requirements by accurately counting carts of deposit beverage containers.
- Strict adherence to all companies polices and procedures.
- Develop a positive working relationship with team members, customers and suppliers that will result in ongoing improvements and successes for Regional Recycling Nanaimo.
- adapt and learn procedures for managing a business.
- be competent and accurate with daily paperwork and documents.
- be motivated and bring a strong work ethic in being part of building a strong team.

**Job Type**: Full Time & Part Time positions available

Will work to accommodate all Secondary and University students schedules.

**Salary**: above minimum wage - hourly wage based on experience.

Our facilities are cleaned throughout the day. Customer carts and all tables are sanitized after each use. High touch areas are sanitized throughout the day. Daily self assessed wellness checks for each employees when required.
