Responsibilities:

- **Patient Assessment**: Perform detailed assessments of patients’ medical histories, physical conditions, and symptoms to identify musculoskeletal issues and related health problems.
- **Treatment Plans**: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on osteopathic principles, focusing on restoring the body's natural balance and improving overall health.
- **Manual Therapies**: Use a variety of manual techniques such as stretching, gentle pressure, and joint manipulation to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote healing.
- **Holistic Care**: Integrate knowledge of how different systems in the body (muscular, skeletal, circulatory, etc.) interact, providing a holistic approach to healthcare.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients on self-care strategies, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to prevent recurrence of problems and maintain long-term health.
- **Collaboration**: Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, massage therapists, and physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards and professional codes of practice.

Required Work Experience:

- Previous experience as an Osteopath or in a related healthcare field.
- Experience in musculoskeletal therapy, manual therapies, or alternative medicine is highly valued.
- Familiarity with a variety of patient conditions, including sports injuries, chronic pain, and stress-related ailments.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficient in osteopathic techniques such as joint manipulation, stretching, and soft tissue massage.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing treatment plans and patient records.

**Education**:

- A recognized degree in Osteopathy from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the appropriate regulatory body or association

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $60.00-$120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
