Job Title**: Inventory Control Associate**
Shift: Afternoons

Reports to**:Production Manager

Department: Production

Under the direction of the Production Manager, this position will be responsible for managing the flow of materials and accuracy of supplies to various departments as well as tracking these materials and supplies in our ERP system. This role will monitor inventory levels through routine cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies and notify supervisor of any irregularities. Plan daily and weekly supplies for production and release inventory items accordingly. Directly or through manager, ensures achievement of company goals and objectives. This position participates fully in department initiatives.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Operate lift truck and electric carts as required.
- Follow all safety guidelines, policy, and departmental SOPS
- Perform and manage daily and weekly cycle counts as scheduled or requested
- Stage various materials required for daily production, 1-2 weeks in advance
- Investigate and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies, develop understanding of Business Central inventory and other various transactions
- Receive materials in a timely and accurate manner from 3PL storage and between Mariposa locations, adhering to inventory management procedures, _e.g._ FIFO Support and recommend continuously improvement initiatives
- Assist with month-end closing and year-end physical inventory processes
- Maintain 5S Methodology
- Follow proper procedure when defective products are discovered
- Check date-sensitive products for expiration, identify and recommend slow moving product for storage, and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed
- Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
- Support production scheduling
- Ensures all items going into Dry Storage, Cooler 1, Cooler 2, Cooler 3 and Chemical room are 100% verified
- Ensure all skids/boxes are labeled properly
- Receive and Ship finished goods as required
- Maintain inventory listings of WIP
- Coordinate with R&D and QA on request
- Effectively communicate with Mariposa Dairy Associates
- Other duties as assigned

**JOB SPECIFICATIONS**
- Flexibility of hours when necessary.** **Shift work required, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Some work on statutory holidays and / or weekends.
- Good team player.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work in ranges of temperature and humidity.
- Safe handling of chemicals and proper use of PPE.
- Must have good attendance.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be able to follow SOP, GMP and complete forms accurately.
- Must have a good and positive attitude towards change and other employees.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain Lift Truck Certification

**MINIMUM CRITERIA**

- Must have mechanical aptitude. Able to work in a team environment.
