We are a new startup in the fashion industry looking to hire someone passionate about fashion and design, willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, and adept at using the latest technologies. In addition, our company is backed by a tenured company in the Logistics industry, which will provide full support on the administrative, supply chain, and financial aspects of the company.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Source, research, and develop fabrics and têxtiles from têxtile suppliers and manufacturers
- Communicate with overseas business partners during business hours in the BST/CST time zones
- Collaborate and communicate with sales representatives to follow merch plan needs and account needs of the customers
- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
- Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers
- Participate in the distribution process of merchandise from our suppliers to our customers
- Participate and understand in design & production process as needed
- Review requirements of customers and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
- Select, inspect, and purchase merchandise for resale
- Study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials
- Forecast upcoming trends while maintaining a high level of relevancy

**Experience, Education, and Skills Required**:

- 2 Years Experience in Clothing/Textile purchasing and sourcing
- Able to work late nights and early mornings
- Fluency in Chinese is an asset
- Outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills
- Hungry and motivated to pursue leads with strong self-discipline
- Demonstrated track record of being a self-starter and taking initiative
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and good with technology
- Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant software
