We are currently hiring Structured Cabling & Security Technicians who are ready to grow, learn, and contribute to a team that values quality work, long-term vision, and family-focused culture.

**The Role**

You will join a high-performance technical team responsible for structured cabling, surveillance, access control, and secure network installation across commercial and industrial sites. Your responsibilities will include:

- Installing, routing, and terminating Cat 5e/Cat 6 cabling in commercial environments
- Testing and certifying cable systems for performance and compliance
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining surveillance and access control systems
- Working with server racks, patch panels, and network hardware
- Pulling cable through conduits, ceilings, and other infrastructure
- Completing fiber optic splicing and termination (training provided if needed)
- Ensuring clean, organized, and code-compliant installations

**Qualifications**

**Required**:

- 1+ year experience in structured cabling, low-voltage, or similar installation roles
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean 3-year abstract
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders or lifts
- Proficiency with hand tools (must supply your own basic tools)
- Strong organizational and communication skills

**Preferred (Not Required)**:

- Experience with CCTV, access control, or alarm system installation
- Fiber optic installation and testing
- Electrical apprenticeship or certifications
- Scissor lift and fall protection certifications
- BICSI or related industry certifications
- Experience with IP networking, VoIP, or VLANs

**Position Details**
- **Job Type**: Full-time (40 hrs/week average)
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (some after-hours work as needed)
- **Compensation**: $20.00-$34.00/hour depending on experience
- **Location**: Calgary, Alberta and surrounding areas
