ADESA/OPENLANE Canada is the country's largest wholesale vehicle auction and remarketing services company. ADESA/OPENLANE provides state-of-the art facilities and technologies to help dealers and consignors buy and sell used cars, trucks, RVs, boats, motorcycles and heavy equipment.

ADESA/OPENLANE Vancouver is one of ADESA/OPENLANE Canada's 14 wholesale vehicle auctions that are located across Canada, coast to coast and the employer of choice in the Canadian automotive remarketing industry.

ADESA/OPENLANE Vancouver has opportunities for casual Block Clerks to join our team. Block Clerks are responsible to enter & update bidding activity during our Simulcast auctions, which requires a key attention to detail. Block Clerks will listen to the auctioneers' calls while accurately entering data in a high-tempo environment.

This is a casual position working our weekly auction, with shifts each Thursday between 9:30am-3:00pm, with a four hour shift guarantee.

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining ongoing bidding process through online computer system as prompted by Auctioneer.- Accurately enters vehicle and sale information into the computer on the auction block during the sale.- May be assigned to enter starting bid information in Simulcast+ sales- Other duties as assigned.

Educational & Experience Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent in education with previous office experience.- One (1) year of clerical experience with minimum intermediate computer skills and accurate data entry skills required.- Reliable and detail oriented.- Comfortable and knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite- Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract completed and cleared by ADESA/OPENLANE is mandatory
