Client lives in a seniors residence.

Provides supervision of clients to ensure safety in the home environment and community

Provides support for caregivers within the clients’ home environment and community

Supervises clients’ participation in routine activities of daily living. May include supervising some personal care activities.
- Accompanies clients to medical and social appointments, in the community
- Communicates effectively with clients, family and care-giving team.
- Identifies, observes and reports issues affecting care to the Service Coordinator Recognizes and respects client's bill of rights and confidentiality.

**Provides household management for clients in their homes**

Provides household management activities for clients who require support with light cleaning, meal preparation, laundry and light grocery shopping

Assists clients to perform activities of daily living and community living skills within their capabilities.

Scans household environment for safety and security risks and advises the Client Service Supervisor of any concerns.

Encourages and assists clients to perform activities of daily living and community living skills within their capabilities.

Follows client care plan as designated and reports any changes or concerns.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
