Midway Mazda in South Surrey is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for full time employment. We are a family owned dealership with a focus on customer satisfaction and long term retention. If you are a motivated, focused individual with the necessary experience, we want you on our team.

Duties include:

- Friendly, courteous reception of all customers to the parts and service department.
- Effective assessment of customer needs
- Service write up
- Recommending additional work with effective selling strategies
- Quality communication with technical staff
- Shop work flow management.
- Keeping customers appraised of vehicle status
- Closing and cashiering work orders.
- Sourcing parts, part number lookup and sale to work orders and counter invoices.
- Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction survey results.
- Utilize various dealership software to perform the above tasks.
- Additional duties as may be required.

Qualifications:

- 1 year of Automotive Service Advisor experience.
- Some Parts experience is an asset
- A great customer service attitude.
- Excitement about the Mazda brand and the automotive industry.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy with CDK/ADP software experience highly preferred
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Willingness to cross train as a Parts Advisor.

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
