Flynn Group of Companies, North America’s fastest growing and leading building envelope contractor is looking for a Manager, Mobile and Web Applications to work from our Mississauga location.

We're looking for someone to work with stakeholders on both the development and the business teams. A relationship expert with experience managing technical professionals of all different types (developers, testers, business analysts, etc.).

Experience in software architecture and software development will be key.
- A Day in the Life
- Provide guidance and management to a team of 15 developers and testers from technical and career path perspectives
- Perform functional testing and document creation as needed, including creating test cases for all functions, and developing end user documentation for all new or modified systems as required
- Perform the Scrum Master and Project Manager roles during all phases of our software delivery projects, including overseeing the implementation and management of SDLC related tools and services
- Act as a point of contact for small enhancements & defect fixes. As well as perform root cause analysis on escalated issues, making recommendations on corrective actions required as well as process enhancements to prevent recurrence
- Proactively identify current
- and future-state business processes, to assist with the growth and development of the Mobile & Web Applications team
- What We Are Seeking
- A university degree, preferably in Business Administration or Computer Science/Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience working on technical projects either as a Senior Developer, Team Lead, or Development Manager
- Advanced knowledge of Excel; proficient Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Understanding of or exposure to the Agile development methodology
- Firsthand experience with business requirements documentation, systems functional analysis, user testing, and project management plan development
- BABOK (Business Analyst Body of Knowledge) certification and/or demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with the key BABOK concepts, tasks, techniques, and skills
- Past experience with the following tools and technology is an asset: Atlassian Jira & Confluence, Aha, NewRelic, Crashlytics/Fabric.io
- Our Tech Stack
- Our primary tech stack is C# and.NET delivered on premises and via Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. We use SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB as our primary databases. We use ASP.NET and JavaScript (Angular, KendoUI,) for our web apps and Xamarin (C#), Swift and Java for our mobile apps.
