**(Owner Operator) - Courier Drivers**

**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated individuals with strong customer service skills to join our last-mile delivery team. As a courier in our company, you will have the opportunity to work with us and our partners to deliver a top-of-the-line customer service experience to end customers.

**ParcelPal Logistics Inc.** specializes in last-mile delivery services and logistics solutions. Since 2016, our company has completed over 5 million deliveries for our partners.

**Role Description**

This position will play an important role in the organization and will be responsible for delivering small packages across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, completing delivery routes as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering meal prep kits, envelops, boxes and other business-related products using our mobile app throughout the Lower Mainland.
- Ensuring all delivery and safety protocols are followed including contactless delivery.

**Requirements**:

- You must have **your own reliable cargo van/minivan/SUV with valid commercial insurance coverage.**:

- Have an Android or iOS **smartphone** with Android version 5.1 or higher, or iOS version 10 or higher.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Have a **valid full driver’s license**. (No **N** or graduated license allowed), should be over 21 years old.
- Have a clean driving abstract.
- Must be comfortable using mobile apps and have general tech proficiency
- GPS enabled on your smartphone with 3G/4G connection.
- Have an **upbeat and positive attitude** with a **customer service mentality**.
- **Experience with deliveries** within the region.
- Ability to interact in English and have good communication skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Routes are available Monday through Friday with some weekends.
- Heavy lifting up to 50lbs, most packages are 3lbs.
- The typical daily volume will be 40-60 **deliveries.**:

- Driving for extended periods of time.
- Repetitive tasks.

**Compensation**:

- We pay varying rates per package but earnings average $270-350 per day.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $270.00-$350.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
