**JOB SUMMARY**

Interacts with the management team while leading and directing global Enterprise Data Technology activities in coordination and collaboration with the enterprise data management office. These activities include the development of processes, staffing allocation plans in support of corporate objectives, and direct supervision of Enterprise Data Technology operations within the enterprise data management office.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Define Syneos Health's enterprise data management technology implementation strategy including vision, design principles, and value proposition in alignment with Syneos Health's core business strategy in collaboration with enterprise data management leadership.
- Lead all aspects of the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise data management objects including, but not limited to, hierarchies, workflows, match & merge, survivorship rules, data sourcing, and consumption, integration process along with other system-specific capabilities.
- Foster data accountability by business owners.
- Business data knowledge on Biopharma master data content generation.
- Educate and train business owners/stewards on enterprise data technology capabilities, workflow,

and approval process to certify master data sets.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders internally (i.e., business leaders, IT, HR, ongoing initiatives, etc.) to define a clear, synchronized roadmap for enterprise data technologies
- Responsible and accountable for employment, promotion, performance evaluation, training, career development, counseling, and discipline of assigned staff.
- Additional accountabilities include the development, maturation, and implementation of the technology lifecycle.
- Maintains awareness of current developments and emerging trends within the industry and recommends strategic as well as tactically impactful enterprise-level technology solutions for business and technology areas, in coordination with enterprise data management.

**Qualifications**

BS/BA degree in business and/or computer science, life science. MBA or related degree preferred
- Extensive experience, managing and executing enterprise data management technologies like Reltio, Collibra, EDQ, etc.
- Knowledge of enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality Management, and Master and Reference Data Management and its enabling technologies is preferred (e.g., data profiling and score carding, enterprise master and reference data management systems are preferred).
- Excellent leadership/management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a high-stress environment are preferred.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, presentation, documentation, analytical, Project Management, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a matrix team is preferred.
- Outstanding facilitation, coordination, and consensus-building skills working with a diverse organizational level, and business areas, where each may have varying objectives, requirements, issues, etc., to achieve common goals.
- Experience in a Contract Research Organization, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology company is a plus.
- Experience working in a structured matrix environment with multiple product lines is essential. In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and a strong understanding and usage of medical terminology is a plus.
