**_We are currently seeking an experienced Manager on Duty (MOD) to join us at The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar in Langley_**:
The Manager on Duty ensures all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you must be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what makes great customer service. Prior experience working in a restaurant as a Server or Bartender is required.

Responsibilities of this role include:_**:

- Leading the service teams by example and in a supervisory and supportive capacity
- Making guests feel welcome and creating memorable experiences
- Providing exceptional, friendly customer service
- Great product knowledge
- Responsible Beverage Service in accordance with Serving it Right
- Maintaining cleanliness and environment standards of the Brewpub
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to ensure organizational goals are met
- Troubleshooting issues that arise across the Brewpub effectively
- Coaching and reporting on team performance
- Resolve customer complaints, requests and queries
- Monitoring, contributing to, and acting on key performance indicators and other targets
- Other duties as required

- Hours and shifts may vary. Includes working evenings, weekends and holidays.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous FOH experience working as a Server or Bartender
- Valid Serving It Right Certifications
- First Aid Level 1 is an asset, but not required
- Positive, can-do attitude with an ability to multi-task
- Strong communication and organizational skills
