**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the General Manager. The Production Scheduler is responsible for using best practices to optimize production with the ultimate goal of on time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The Scheduler will analyze data, review trend analysis to create and maintain production schedules and control of process.

ERP and Master production schedule are daily tools required to achieve an effective and interactive scheduling process.

The Scheduler will be key in analyzing short and long term data to accommodate client needs. Excellent computer skills, communication skills and interactive thinking are all basic requirements to achieve the end result. The Scheduler must demonstrate the ability to analyze, plan and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks. The requirement is for two way flow of information and process to oversee tasks in a live and interactive environment.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Ensure that the master and all subordinate schedules are created in timely fashion and distributed to optimize production to meet delivery schedules both internal and external to the organization.

Create and maintain Master Schedule and delivery on KPI’s.

Support production execution and continuous improvement.

Work hand in hand with Production Supervisors to clearly communicate the objectives of the schedule.

To provide continual feedback as to the purpose of the plan and to make live time adjustments based on immediate demands.

Provide strategic input to maintain and improve capacity vs load forecast and provide output to control these variables.

Develop, maintain and enhance statistical trends relevant to production to improve forward loading of the master plan on a long term basis.

Provide short and long term reporting both on the accuracy of the plan relative to the requirements and actual delivery.

Must develop an intimate knowledge of the sequence of production, departmental relationship and product flow through operations.

Requires a clear and accurate knowledge of process relative to product.

Collaborate with multiple production supervisors and lead players to communicate on optimizing the schedules live time and adjust based on current realities and amendments to the initial plan as set out.

Play a key role in the development and maintenance of a Quality Process.

Must have an ability to play a daily active role in inventory review with regard to oversight and control from a planning perspective.

Develop lean solutions to improve processes and customer deliveries in a continuous improvement fashion in a non ISO environment.

Communicate schedule changes promptly to stakeholders, including Operations, Purchasing and Sales.

**Secondary Responsibilities**:
Train back up schedulers. Other duties as required to support the changing business needs of the organization.

Lead role in the health and safety polices and procedure including audit and report on compliance requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of high school, college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion

of university desirable.
- Preferred experience includes supervising and coordinating manufacturing activities,

establishing work schedules, overseeing safety of operations
- Preference to APIC’s CPIM certificate
- 2 Years or more of directly relevant work experience in a planning or manufacturing

control function

Pay: From $76,000.00 per year
