**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Install solar panels and related equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
- Dig trenches for electrical wiring and other necessary installations.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and provide effective solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in solar installation or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment, including backhoes and bucket trucks.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and components related to solar energy installations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Valid Canadian driver's license is required;
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) as needed during installations.

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
