This role is the first and last impression for our stores. As a sales associate, your role is to ensure the cannabis purchasing experience flows smoothly. You will be engaging with customers daily by greeting them, discussing products, their use till completing the checkout process at Point of Sale.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store.
- Respond to customer inquiries with comprehensive product knowledge and accuracy.
- Identify ideal products to suit the customer’s needs and requests.
- Suggest additional products and build sales based on customer suggestions.
- Stay knowledgeable on new products, changes in in-laws, and industry trends.
- Work in partnership with Management and sales team to maximize store sales.
- Adhere to all company training, operation standards and procedures-Abide by all company and provincial regulations and requirements for the sale of cannabis and associated products.
- Professionally and courteously handle customer feedback, complaints, or concerns.
- Process purchase payments - cash, credit/debit card.
- Receive and process inventory.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, able to complete daily reports.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
- Ensure the store is clean, tidy, merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum age 19 years old or age as specified by the provincial government.
- Minimum 1 year retail sales or customer service experience; cannabis sales experience an asset.
- Post-Secondary Education (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (preferred).
- Valid G driver's licence
- Valid CannSell Certificate.
- Experience with POS systems (Additional training for the Cannabis POS system will be provided).
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Multi-lingual (preferred).

Job Details:

- Starting Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience.
- Our store will be open 7 days a week with hours that may range from 10am to 10pm.

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
