**Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for the routine and non-routine inspection of raw materials, in process and finished product specifications

2. Implement and maintain GMP and Standard Operation Procedures and report any deviation by daily audits

3. Liaise with other department to enforce company quality management system in a professional and respectful manner

4. Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying these problems with the completion/issuing of work orders

5. Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs

6. Release incoming raw material and hold any non-conforming finished products

7. Train, communicate and enforce product quality, safety and GMP practices to all level of personnel

8. Monitor product waste and efficiency and assist in waste reduction and improvement projects

9. Investigate any deviation or customer complaint and assist for corrective action plan

10. Measure, monitor and document all QC related records as per company Standard Operation Procedure per SOP# VP 2010-VP-SOP-1PC-2010

11. Responsible for finished product label validation

**12. **Collect reference sample and first off sample as required**

13. Refill required PPE supplies for production staff

14. Daily calibration of scales and calipers

15. Ensure use of acceptable materials including raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and cleaners as per SOP #2001-VP-SOP-RMR-2001

16. Random checking of boxes auditing box count and proper packing per SOP# 2010-VP-SOP-1PC-2010

17. Qc refresher training for all staff

18. Quality Inspector/back up Production Supervisor

19. Other duties as assigned by QC/QA Manager

**Qualifications**:
1. Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Quality Assurance/Control environment

2. Ability to work with digital caliper

3. Attention to detail is a must; accountable for his/her work

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

5. Hands on performer willing to spend time on production floor and with packaging crew

6. Computer skills such as Microsoft word, excel and outlook

7. Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills

8. Strong understanding of quality control concept and GMP

9. Strong time and stress management skills
Able to work flexible shifts, especially GY shifts.

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
