Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Support Worker to provide care and assistance to an elderly person with advanced Alzheimer's. As a In Home Support Worker, you will administer bedside and personal care, plan and prepare meals and special diet. Your role is vital in improving the quality of life for the patient, assisting with walking, regular exercise, bathing and personal hygiene. You will also be expected to read to and enjoy music with the patient. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to perform various duties.

**Duties**:

- Provide personal care and assistance to patient in her home
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patient with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient
- Provide emotional support and companionship to the patient

**Requirements**:

- One year previous experience in caregiving or senior care
- Must have a genuine passion for helping others and providing compassionate care
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
- Strong communication skills
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Pay: From $18.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
