Eternal Abundance is an all organic, vegan market & eatery on Commercial Drive and we are looking to hire a dedicated, long-term dishwasher/juice+smoothie maker to join our back kitchen team.

Shift requirements:
2-3 shifts per week.
- **Please note that shifts are PRIMARILY EVENING SHIFTS (3pm
- around 10pm). You may have some morning training shifts but after training is complete, you will be posted on mainly evenings.**_
Shifts are approx 6.5 hrs long.
**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK BOTH SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS if we need.**

A bit about the position:
The position is a combined job of working both the dishwashing station and juice/smoothie station. You'll be making customer drinks fresh to order quickly and accurately, prep fresh and frozen vegetables and fruit, and wash the store's dishes. **There is a heavy emphasis on dishwashing, it's about 70% of the job** so you must be okay doing dishes and standing for hours. Other tasks include general cleaning like sweeping, mopping, and taking out recycling and compost.

**Requirements**:

- Valid work permit
- Valid food safe
- Can communicate effectively in English
- Flexible schedule, able to work weekends and evenings
- Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months employment
- Able to lift 50lbs. Some boxes of fruit and veg are heavy
- Punctual
- Good communication skills
- Fast paced worker, can hustle
- Able to stay calm under pressure
- Positive attitude

Compensation is $16.75/hr + tips (which varies, but is approx $2/hr) + a daily meal or grocery credit and additional discounts on meals and groceries, as well as the opportunity to order in bulk at nearly wholesale.
