Procon Supplies is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our Doors & Hardware team. In this role, you’ll prepare estimates, analyze architectural drawings, specs, and construction documents, prepare shop drawings and support the Project Management team. You will be responsible for accurately pricing doors, frames, and hardware and collaborating with vendors and project stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze architectural drawings, specs, and construction documents to create accurate bids.
- Identify key information (e.g., labour, materials, time, warranties) before the bidding process.
- Request and track quotes from manufacturers for required materials.
- Calculate labour, material, and time costs for formal proposals.
- Review the scope of work based on bids, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and Contract Administrators for project handovers.
- Follow up on bids with General Contractors and track bid outcomes. Expectations: -Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms.
- Support the Project Management team and maintain familiarity with building codes.
- Utilize estimating and project coordination software to streamline the quoting process.
- Keep the bid list updated and assist the Operations Manager with quoting decisions.
- Maintain vendor relationships and research new products for bidding opportunities.

**Skills & Qualifications: (preferred)**
- Construction experience, blueprint reading, pricing, and cost estimation.
- Knowledge of building codes.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
- Strong organizational skills and customer service focus.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
