Mississauga, Canada Procon Building Supplies Full time

Complete take-offs and project estimates including cost of materials, labour and equipment required for projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications
- Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects regarding tenders
- Conducting a detailed analysis of the contract documents and specifications, to determine overall project requirements and identifying any associated risk factors, including the monitoring of published addendums that may alter the original scope of the project.
- Completing final bid submission to the client (in conjunction with the Estimating Manager as needed).
- Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
- Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
- Maintain a database of cost information including but not limited to cost feedback from bids

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree related to Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Engineering or related education
- A minimum of 2-5 years of ICI estimating experience
- Ability to mead deadlines in efficiently and timely manner
- Proven experience performing takeoffs and estimates on projects with values up to and over $20 million.
- Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices.
- Understanding of the job handover process (from estimating to operations)
- Experience running multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Must be fluent in English Language.
- Must be willing to learn and be a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
