You are a natural sales person with a knack for helping people reach financial success. **_ Investment and Planning Consultant (IPC)_** As an IPC you have a dynamic presence in the branch environment. You are the IPC for our current Financial Advisors and our members. Through Servus's Wealth Management Process you consolidate member assets and increase the wallet share for Servus while ensuring member satisfaction. You are seen as an active leader in the branches by fostering an environment of professional growth and development in a fun, positive and productive way. More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities includes but are not limited to: - Uncover the full financial needs of the members, provide solutions and/or refer these to the appropriate Advisor - Support and/or facilitate the financial planning experience for the members - Be proactive in pursuing external/internal business opportunities by: retention of existing member base and actively soliciting new business, reviewing marketing data to determine new market potential, and leveraging opportunities with existing members through in branch/telephone communication - Establish and implement a sales plan that focuses on retaining and attracting new members with mid/high net worth, developing internal referral sources, centers of influence, improving profitability with existing members and developing business from existing members - Identify staff developmental opportunities and provide effective coaching and technical training. - Provide coaching & mentoring to assist members of the team with skill development - Ensure all corporate policies, procedures and guidelines are adhered to including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements to mitigate the risk of loss to the Credit Union and members **Requirements**: To qualify, you'll need at least the following: - Minimum **5 years of financial advisory sales experience** as well as thorough knowledge of financial planning, products, policies, procedures and operations. - Post-secondary diploma/degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Investment Funds In Canada (IFIC) - MFDA License **Benefits** Working for Servus has outstanding benefits.
