By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. As an invaluable team member, you will play a key role in both general practice administration and maintaining client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation remains up-to-date and compliant and working with the Investment Advisors in managing client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities. What will you do? Execute investment trades and portfolio management as coordinated by Advisor Provide trade surveillance and ensure accuracy of portfolio holdings relative to the Investment Policy Statement Work with Advisor to develop the investment models and portfolio rebalancing Coordinate position maintenance, book cost accuracy and execution of corporate reorganizations Monitor fixed income maturities for reinvestment Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary. Administer estate adjustments and distribution Respond to client and related party inquiries (account transactions, requests for tax receipts, account reporting, etc.). Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery Support Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities. What you need to succeed Must-have (or working towards) Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam, CIRE Professional Microsoft Excel experience High level mathematical skills and logical thinking Strong time management and organization skills Nice-to-have: Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures Experience in the securities industry is an asset Demonstrated proficiency in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients What’s in it for you?
