**Position Summary**

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the equipment and surrounding areas Ensures that all daily tasks are completed in accordance with Highline’s Food Safety programs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Daily cleaning and sanitizing of food contact equipment in the facility, following proper procedures as per SSOP
- Daily Sanitation and Cleaning of slicer machine, slicer head (washing/sanitizing/steaming), Ishida line, Top Seal lines, OMORI lines, Sigma/Viscon lines, box makers, lug washer and all other lines in the packing area.
- Daily and scheduled non-routine cleaning and sanitizing of non-food contact equipment and areas around the facility following proper procedures.
- Cleaning and sanitation of the trucks/trailers throughout the year, floor scrubbers in the production area.
- Use high pressure washer to wash equipment and floors in the production and non production area.
- Daily and scheduled non-routine cleaning of floors and other peripheral surfaces as assigned
- Performs non-routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment as required
- Carries out other cleaning tasks as assigned by the QA Manager
- Physical activities include, but are not limited to, lifting 50 lbs, stacking, carrying, bending, pushing and pulling
- Performs any other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

Pay: $18.96 per hour

**Experience**:

- Sanitation: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
