**What You’ll Be Doing**:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the floor.
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to assigned technical employees to achieve the required quality and service output goals.
- Serve as the process leader for floor activities, ensuring work standards are defined and systemically improved with input from technicians, machine builders, and the rest of the automation team.
- Coordinate activities and review inventory discrepancies with purchasing.
- Provide effective daily communication to keep all team members working toward the same goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team.
- Partner with the Program Manager and other key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed, and cost in line with customer needs.
- Ensure that work standards and available engineering procedures are current, accurate, and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality.
- Monitor training needs/requirements of the team and individuals and coordinate training as required in partnership with training team resources.
- Implementation and coordination of build standards.
- Verify and sign off on all employee time cards.
- Develop continuous improvement ideas to improve departmental systems.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, all Johnson Electric policies, and any other industry standards in all activities.
- Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Good understanding of automated solutions and assembly processes.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Demonstrated team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented.
