**Who We Are Looking For**:
We are seeking a technically skilled, adaptable, and team-oriented **ERP Technician** with deep expertise in **SQL development** and a proven ability to quickly master and configure ERP platforms, particularly in manufacturing environments. Experience with **Insight ERP (by Cyncly)**, **Microsoft Dynamics**, or similar systems is highly preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. ERP Technical Development & Support**
- Participate in technical development efforts for ERP solutions including system configuration, SQL scripting, report/label changes, and data workflows.
- Architect scalable and maintainable ERP environments, prioritizing performance, security, and user experience.
- Manage system validation, QA testing, documentation, and troubleshooting of ERP-related issues.
- Ensure ERP development projects meet strategic goals and are completed on time.

**2. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication**
- Liaise with business stakeholders (e.g., Production, Sales, Engineering, Finance) to gather requirements and develop tailored ERP solutions.
- Participate as a technical point of contact for ERP-related inquiries, integrations, and enhancements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party vendors to align technology with business needs.

**3. Data Management & Reporting**
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and views for reporting and automation.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all ERP modules through structured audits and validation rules.
- Participate in creating reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Crystal Reports to support business decisions.

**4. System Integration & Automation**
- Identify and automate routine tasks and manual processes to improve system efficiency and user productivity.
- Monitor integration performance and resolve any data synchronization issues.

**5. Security & Compliance**
- Configure and manage user access through role-based permissions and security best practices.
- Perform regular system audits and collaborate with IT Security on compliance with internal and external standards.
- Stay current with security trends and ensure ERP systems are aligned with industry regulations.

**6. Continuous Learning & Team Enablement**
- Keep up with ERP trends, development languages, and system capabilities, especially within Insight ERP.
- Contribute to internal documentation, team knowledge sharing, and training of new ERP team members.
- Support skill development within the ERP team in partnership with the ERP Manager.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong proficiency in **SQL** (queries, views, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Hands-on experience configuring ERP systems in a manufacturing context (Insight preferred).
- Strong understanding of ERP data structures, business logic, and integration design.
- Effective problem-solving, analytical, and systems thinking skills.
- Experience with integration methods such as APIs, data import/export, middleware.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, SSRS, or Crystal Reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with ERP systems such as **Insight,** **Microsoft Dynamics**, **Epicor**, or **SAP**.
- Strong background in SQL programming and ERP configuration.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments considered a strong asset.
