**Accountabilities**:

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Understand our business stakeholders business challenges, define, design, and implement business intelligence reporting and dashboard solutions to address the business problems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage company data and data platforms, and build optimal business case for business growth
- Advise business stakeholders on how to measure their business processes and advise on best metrics to use for different processes
- Gather proper requirements and ensure they are aligned with the overall objective and insights sought by our business stakeholders
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize overall efficiency and improve quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems

**Qualifications**:

- 2 years experience as a Data Analyst with advanced level of computer skills, including SQL and/or SAS, PowerBI preferred (and/or Tableau) Reporting, Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective negotiation and problem solving skills
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Identifying new ideas, techniques and opportunities for improving effectiveness, performance and productivity is essential
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets

**Bonus qualification**:

- Insurance experience
