Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. **Key Accountabilities**: - Liaison with all internal stakeholders and vendors; ensure all applicable stakeholders are kept informed and aware of all updates and provide sign off for all vendor related activities. - Work with vendors to ensure all activities are completed accurately and on a timely basis. - Responsible for highly complex change requests for all vendors who are affected by any change activities to our key vendor processes; including projects where content changes need to be made (i.e. correspondence releases, welcome packages, and inserts/messaging). - Primary contact for Line of Business on all items related to change management activities with our vendors. - Acts as a team lead and provides ongoing mentorship for Senior Analysts - Track and provide the change management costs to the Vendor Manager to ensure we are on plan or are aware of any variances to the forecasts provided by the vendor. - The incumbent will ensure all procedures, playbooks and databases are kept current and accurate - Provides support and execution of testing strategies along with governance of vendor, BNS IT and Product facilitation for end to end business acceptance testing for vendor related implementations. - Ensure full oversight of vendors/segments as assigned. - Develop reporting and analysis specific to vendor requirements assigned vendors. - Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. - Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. - Resolve vendor change related issues and manage issue management action plans. Triage vendor issues to respective Vendor Manager where required - Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct. *** **Education and Other Requirements**: - An understanding of the products, services and value proposition he/she is responsible for supporting; Working knowledge of the Retail Products industry preferred - Strong written and oral communication skills; - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint - Experience in project management or quality assurance testing - Experience in working with third party organizations - Experience in vendor management - Must possess independent decision making and the ability to work with little direct supervision - Strong relationship management skills - Strong time management skills required Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
