We need our Inspectors to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills. In this role you will: perform well defined and sometimes difficult inspection tasks, including monitoring quality control procedures. You will inspect various facets of work on the construction site and perform continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. Our inspectors document nonconformance and may participate in discussions to determine appropriate resolution. Inspection activities are usually concentrated in one of the following areas: soils, concrete, mechanical, or electrical. Willingness to travel and/or to relocate to field sites is expected.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs civil and structural inspections on various municipal and provincial construction projects. Including inspection of bridges, grade, asphalt, sewers, watermains.
- Document all construction activities and quantities.
- Conduct compaction checks of granulars and soils.
- Participate in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.
- Participate in the development of quality control reports and procedures. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of inspection experience on highway or structure projects.
- EIT or RCJI designation.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift 30kg.
