Your primary focus is to stage shipments by processing orders on a timely basis. In addition, you will be responsible for transporting raw and finished goods to our customers or within the interbranch on a need's basis. You will be working in and out of your assigned branch and maintain a working relationship with the Warehouse Team to successfully transport and complete orders. You are responsible for addressing customers with professionalism and reporting issues to Management.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Fundamental Job Responsibilities)**:

- Operates a 3-ton truck or a 5-ton truck with a trailer.
- Delivering product to customer premises inside and outside city limits
- Ensuring products are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.
- Safely operate forklifts with carrying capacities of 8,000 - 10,000 lbs.
- Load/unload materials using a forklift, avoiding damaging products.
- Accurately pick orders, preparing them for easy transport and replenishing product as needed.
- Prepare all appropriate paperwork and ensure accuracy, including orders and waybills.
- Provide Exceptional customer service with all stakeholders.
- Exercises best OHS practices such as daily truck inspections and observes safety driving rules.
- Assist with inventory counts.
- Accurately ship/receive outgoing/incoming products.
- Properly label and stage newly received product.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and general housekeeping of the warehouse.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **Minimum of 2+ years of experience driving a large truck (up to 5 ton) with automatic and manual transmission in short and long distance.**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment is required.
- **Knowledgeable on compliance and regulations for Truck Drivers in Alberta. (i.e., Logbooks, Inspections, road instructions, etc.)**:

- **Hold at least a class 3Q with Airbrake drivers’ license.**:

- **Clean driving record**:

- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Sit down counterbalance forklift experience is an asset.
- Self-motivated and driven to continuously improve and add value to the organization.
- Reliability and punctuality are a must for success.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Regularly required to walk; stand; sit; climb ladders with the ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull and reach above and below the waist.
