**Sanitation**

**Purpose of the Position**:
Sanitation/Cleaners are responsible for ensuring all daily sanitation tasks are completed effectively and within GPP requirements.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
Reporting to **Harvest Manager**, the Sanitation/Cleaner will be responsible for sanitizing in all operation areas including but not limited to, administration, lunchroom, bathrooms etc. using the proper equipment in a timely manner.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Assist with equipment cleaning as required;
- Responsible for room cleaning in all areas of the building and where cannabis was present as per GPP requirement;
- Assist with Waste Management
- Follow procedure for the use of any chemical cleaners;
- Maintains cleaning schedule and logs;
- Ensure daily sanitation tasks are completed effectively and in alignment with the Cannabis Act and Good Production Practices (GPP ) requirements; and
- other duties and responsibilities as required by the Position or as may be assigned by Venn Cannabis from time to time.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
**Knowledge**:

- Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas;
- Previous Sanitation experience an asset
- Knowledge in handling chemicals
- Knowledge and experience in a large scale GPP environment an asset

**Skills and Abilities**;
- Must demonstrate the following skills;
- Must be able to wear PPE for extended periods of time.
- Attention to details
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Can work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience working within a highly-regulated environment
- Excellent record keeping abilities
- An understanding of GPP is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Simcoe, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
