Transfer Station Operator

Waste Connections of Canada an immediate opening for a **Transfer Station **Operator** to join our team in **Hamilton**, ON. We are looking for a SAFETY inclined, energetic, autonomous and proactive team player capable of making a difference in his/her team and community.
As a Transfer Station** **Operator, you will responsible for safely operating various equipment, including articulated trucks and backhoe; this may also include forklifts, loaders, and front skid steer loaders. You may also be responsible for including routine inspection and maintenance of equipment.
**Location**: 464 Rennie St Hamilton, ON
**Pay rate**: $24.93 per hour
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of Loader Operator experience in a busy environment or related experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
- Experience loading open top walking floor trailers is an asset
- Experience working with municipal waste is an asset
