Ottawa, Canada Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Full time

Matrix is hiring a Heavy Equipment Off-road Planner in Nunavut. The role will consist of 12-hour days, 7 days a week. All hours after 8 or 40 in overtime, and the pay range is between $40-$50/HR. The rotation will be 3 weeks-on 3 weeks-off flies in, fly out with camp.

We are filling this role immediately. We will offer group benefits for these positions also and RRSP as these rolls will be around 2 years full-time. Flights are out of Quebec, so anyone interested will have to drive to a charter flight in Quebec.

Our client is a unique company with strong management that has amassed specialty experience on northern mining projects through all phases of Inuit consultation, permitting, construction and operation.

**Scope of Work**:

- Develop, maintain, monitor and update the maintenance manual for the maintenance department, complete with business process flows, practices, policies & procedures and KPIs.
- Provide technical/operational input into maintenance procedures and systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage maintenance system including system data quality and seek out improvements to the system.
- Create accurate plans for the scheduling and manpower forecasting for weekly, monthly, annual and long-term maintenance schedules.
- Establish effective KPI reports for continual improvement
- Monitor and measure maintenance costs and adjust planning accordingly
- Analyze trends in equipment maintenance needs including breakdown, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, me

**Qualifications**:

Must have 10+ years of maintenance experience with at least 2 years in a planning role

**Requirements**:

- Arctic experience and experience using SAP maintenance systems would be beneficial
- MMP or similar certification would be considered an asset
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
