**The Opportunity**

Responsibilities*
Under the leadership of the Corporate Facility Director, you will work directly with department & building managers, internal stakeholders and various external partners to manage the City's diverse facility assets. In this position you will be responsible for the following:
- Asset data collection and management, review of current, emergent and future organizational facility requirements and facility infrastructure planning. Assist with ongoing internal strategic facility master planning.
- Lease agreement management (specific to CFM responsibilities i.e., service provision, maintenance & repairs, new projects, etc.) with external stakeholders and assist CFM Maintenance Manager with the management of Service Level Agreements (SLA) (internal & external clients).
- Review & recommendation of annual Facility Renewal expenditures. Working in collaboration with the CFM Managers to prioritize Facility Condition Audit recommendations, ongoing life-cycle asset planning and internally identified Facility Renewal projects.
- Work directly with CFM Managers, Building & Department Managers and Stakeholders to manage City owned or operated facilities in compliance with municipal, provincial and federal standards.
- Service Centre Custodial Services - Contribute in the processes, methods and use of products utilized across the organization in collaboration with Procurement and department/building managers.
- Assist as required in space & infrastructure planning and ongoing occupancy requirements.
- In this role you will directly supervise four (4) staff: 1 administrative coordinator and 3 custodial staff for the City Service Centre location only.
- Management of existing asset data in current CMMS program (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and oversee the input of current and new FCI data (Facility Condition Index).
**You Bring**
You will have a minimum of five (5) years of Facility Asset Management or Supervisory experience and either a post-secondary education in a related field of maintenance technology, engineering or business administration, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
The following skills will be essential to the position:
- Supervisory experience and a proven ability to work well under pressure to meet set deadlines
- Demonstrated exceptional skills in the areas of staff supervision, strategic decision making, budget development and risk management.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal are a requirement
- Extensive experience working with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) program, i.e. Maintenance Connections or other Asset Management programs
- Strong computer aptitude and high level of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Etc.)
- Professional Facility/Asset Management certification/designation (i.e. AMP, CAMP, FMP, etc.) would be considered a strong asset
- Experience in a municipal environment would be considered a strong asset
- You also demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional customer service, performance management and strict adherence to safe work practices.
- A valid class Five (5) Alberta Driver's License with current driver's abstract is required upon employment.
