More importantly you are mature, reliable and transparent. An obsession with accuracy will be invaluable, communication and ability to multi-task will be imperative. Challenging? Absolutely. As a key person in our organization, outstanding interpersonal skills are crucial. This position is far more than just A/R or A/P; your role will include preparing monthly financials, reconciling accounts, general journal entries, hunting for discrepancies, payroll oversight, and teaching two other accounting & administration staff. Our accounting software lives in a journal entry world (ie. not QuickBooks), a solid understanding of credits and debits, as well as experience working with multiple currencies are advantageous.
- Reliable transportation (we are not on a bus route)
- A Monday to Friday 9AM - 6PM schedule, matching the dealership's operating hours
- Excellent written and oral command of the English language
- Full-cycle accounting work experience
