**Individual responsibilities**
- As a Paper Machine Specialist, you use your technical expertise to perform rigorous diagnostics of operational processes and propose innovative and value-added solutions to your business partners and customers. Finally, you implement best practices in the industry to ensure customer satisfaction and the sustainability of achievements through effective knowledge transfer within the company. To do so, you must:
- Support plant personnel in problem solving, capacity increase and overall performance optimization of paper machines;
- Evaluate and propose improvements to paper machine peripheral systems;
- Assist in the installation and start-up of new processes;
- Initiate and implement technological developments to maximize productivity and profitability of the mills.

- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or other academic training combined with relevant work experience may be considered;
- A minimum of 10 years of experience related to the operation and optimization of paper machines.

**More information**

The Paper Machine Specialist will be required to travel 75% or more of the time in Canada and the United States as part of his/her duties.
