GENERAL SUMMARY

Our servers are individuals who must have a positive and professional attitude and clear communication skills to deliver high quality customer service to our customers.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively communicate with customers and resolve customer issues in a positive manner and cater to customer needs while on shift.
- Serve all food and beverage requests in an efficient and manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; clear tables during hours of service.
- Consistently provide every guest with the same great service.
- Work with other team members to ensure guests are seated as efficiently and quickly as possible.
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge.
- Listen to guests and suggest menu items that meet their needs and enhance their experience.
- Demonstrate a desire to help where needed.
- Use Customer feedback to improve service.
- Follow Health and Safety procedures and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
- Accurately follow cash-out procedures and secure proper payment for all orders.
- Project a positive image both on and off duty in restaurant locations.
- Educate customers on promotions or services to up-sell products/services and take orders as necessary.
- Record accurate details regarding customer inquiries into database and escalate issues as needed.
- Other Customer service duties as assigned.
- Server reports to the Assistant Manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous restaurant experience (preferred).
- High School diploma considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
- Self-confident, personable, energetic personality.
- Must be punctual, dependable and hard working.
- Availability to accommodate a flexible work schedule and willingness to work with short notice.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment on a regular basis.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
