The Purchasing Data Analyst is a well-organized individual who pays close attention to detail, and has a thorough understanding of numerical analysis, as well as database management. The purchasing Data Analyst is a key member of Sunrise Farms corporate purchasing team, providing a variety of non-poultry related velocity reports by supplier and by sku(s) in order to help maximize cost efficiencies. This person is a gatekeeper, entering and monitoring contract pricing in the company Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and works very closely with the Corporate DIrector of Purchasing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of Syspro database management.
- Gatekeeper of contract pricing, including unit of measures (UOM) information, etc.
- Provides velocity reports and analysis - su;;lier volumes, sku volumes, COGS analysis (poultry NIC).
- Participates in the preparation and overall review of issuing Requests For Proposals (RFPs).
- Liaises with and supports buyers at the plant level.
- Monitor Purchase Orders (POs) and contract pricing compliance and training.
- Looks for opportunities and inventory management improvements.
- Looks for distribution and logistics improvement for purchases into plants.
- Develop SKU forecast based on historical sales and recent trends.
- Participate in local and company-wide process improvement initiatives.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of data anlytics experience.
- Post secondary education or equivilent.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Strong financial and budgeting knowledge.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data for effective decision-making.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and database software.
