Food Service Attendant

*Position Summary:
The Food Service Attendant will work on the food tray line serving food, in the dish room washing dishes, kitchen prepping food and cleaning, and washing floors. Assists with pot washing / kitchen cleaning duties, and replenishing tray line supplies. The Food Services environment can be fast-paced during meal hours. Working consistently for periods of fours hours continuously. The Food Services Attendant should demonstrate constant awareness of safety hazards and report to the Executive Chef for maintaining safety standards.
*Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit and in general good health with the ability to push, pull and lift a minimum of 50 lbs and be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and general safety
- Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to stay focused
- Reliable with attendance, working with all scheduled shifts in their entirety
- **Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old)**:
- Appropriately dressed
- Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $15.19-$17.99 per hour
