**An exciting opportunity awaits**:
We currently have an opportunity for the **Wire Payment Administrator** to join our team. As the Wire Payment Administrator you will seek to assist with delivering exceptional member service by providing on-going wire payment processing with a high level of accuracy and consistency; while monitoring transactions for fraudulent or unusual activity.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Process outbound wire payment instructions received from member services and/or member contact representatives maintaining a high degree of attention to detail; verifying all information required has been provided to ensure a successful transaction
- Monitor wire requests to ensure they align with members’ usual activity, take appropriate steps to verify wire payment instructions where necessary
- Liaise with Deposit Compliance; continuously analyze fraud/money laundering information to identify potential fraudulent activity and recommend action to the appropriate manager
- Process and disburse incoming wire payments
- Ensure continued compliance with FINTRAC reporting requirements
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and comply with credit union policies and procedures
- Audit all internal documentation for compliance to policies and procedures
- Deliver a needs-based style of service according to SCU’s service delivery model
- Support the Member Services & Member Contact departments in the delivery of wire payment services to members
- Provide additional services as required

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 diplomas plus 1 year of formal business related education of equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of job related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Business acumen
- software proficiency
