Altruck International Truck Centres is currently seeking a **Heavy Duty Truck Parts Counter Representative **for our **Goderich location**.

**Summary**:
The Altruck International Truck Centres Heavy Duty Truck Parts Specialist sells replacement parts and equipment at the Altruck International Truck Centres Company. They locate the necessary parts and equipment and dispense them to Service Technicians, and to other businesses, or to the public.

**Job Duties**
- Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and fellow employees.
- Remarket Commercial Vehicle replacements parts to our clients
- Inspect worn or damaged parts to assist clients, identify and present options for the replacement part(s)
- Source and locate availability of the part (if not in stock)
- Place special orders and arrange shipping to clients
- Inspect damaged parts brought in by customers to determine the proper replacement.
- Identify the necessary part on the basis of the customer's description of the trouble.
- Suggest a part that is interchangeable, place a special order for the part, if a customer needs a part that is not stocked.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Rental experience in the Medium/ Heavy Duty truck automotive industry/ field-heavy equipment, Agriculture automotive.
- Must be self starter and motivated to sell.
- Must have superior problem solving skills to achieve a win-win solutions.
- Must be a team-player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
- Must conduct his/her self in a professional manner.

**Working Conditions**:
The Heavy-Duty Truck Parts Specialist can expect to work indoors, constantly standing, walking and reaching high and low for parts. Counter workers must frequently work rapidly (for example, when waiting on mechanics who have taken time from repair work to get parts). They may also be required to lift heavy items; however, the individual must request assistance for very heavy objects or parts that exceed 50 lbs. This is a physically demanding position.
