**Assistant - Nanny & Doula Services Support**

**About Us**:
Ottawa Nannies and Family Services is dedicated to providing high-quality, heart-centered support to families across the Ottawa area. We offer nanny placements, postpartum doula care, and parent connection opportunities through playgroups and community events. As our founder focuses on sleep consulting through her sister company, we’re looking for a right-hand person to help grow and manage the nanny and doula side of the business.

**Who We’re Looking For**:
You’re someone who jumps in with both feet. Ideally, you’re an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or have similar experience working with families. You’re a quick thinker, confident multitasker, and a true team player with a heart for community and caregiving. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to make a real difference in the lives of children and parents.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Help manage the day-to-day of nanny and doula client services
- Coordinate care, handle scheduling, and support intake and follow-ups
- Host or assist with community playgroups and events (especially when the founder is unavailable)
- Step in with hands-on support for short-term or emergency care placements (if qualified)
- Respond to client inquiries with warmth and professionalism
- Support basic admin tasks like bookings, communication, and documentation
- Contribute to social media and marketing — think DMs, stories, and family-friendly content
- Take initiative, solve problems, and help grow our services with care and integrity
- ECE certification or background in child development, nannying, or doula work
- Strong communication skills and a calm, confident presence
- A love for working with children and families
- Flexibility to step into multiple roles — admin, caregiving, event support
- Familiarity with the Ottawa parenting community
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A passion for helping families feel seen, supported, and connected

**Compensation**:
Hourly rate based on experience, with opportunity to grow in scope and pay as the business expands. Starting at 24.00$/hour
