We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant General Manager to join our IHOP team. As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service.
- Manage and motivate a team of front and back-of-house staff to maintain a positive, productive work environment.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest service are met.
- Address guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage restaurant inventory, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of staff to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
- Assist in managing budgets, tracking financial performance, and implementing cost-control measures.
- Help enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in planning and executing restaurant marketing initiatives to boost sales and guest satisfaction.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and staff.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and staff training.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A passion for providing excellent guest service and creating a positive dining experience.
