- **Responsibilities**_
**Meal Preparation and Cooking**:
- Conferring with clients to determine their meal preferences, specifications, food allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Preparing customized meal plans for clients based on their preferences, specifications, and dietary needs.
- Shopping for meal ingredients as well as necessary kitchen tools and equipment.
- Inspecting meal ingredients before making purchases to ensure that they are of the highest quality.
- Preparing meals in clients' kitchens in accordance with food health and safety regulations.
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas before and after meal preparation.
- Appropriately packaging and labeling prepared meals that are to be consumed at a later date.
- Providing clients with written or verbal instructions on how to heat meals.
**Kitchen Management**:
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly.
- Maintaining inventory of food and supplies in the client's kitchen and ensuring that there is always enough food on hand to prepare meals.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work station before and after every meal preparation.
**Client Interaction**:
- Communicating with clients to determine their food preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Ensuring to take note of any food allergies or particular meal preparation specifications from clients.
- Providing clients the instructions on the consumption of certain food items.
- Offering cooking classes or demonstrations if requested.
- Requirements_
**Experience and Skills**:
- Proven culinary experience, preferably as a Personal Chef, Chef, or Cook.
- Sound knowledge of different cuisines as well as food health and safety regulations.
- A strong understanding of nutrition and dietary requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with a creative approach to meal presentation.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 48 per week
Additional pay:
