Pitchfork Market + Kitchen is seeking a **Inventory & Operation Planning Manager **to join our team **based in Saskatoon**

**This is a hybrid role. Encompassing purchasing, merchandising, brand development and strong business sense.**

The **Inventory & Operations Planning Manager** is responsible for leading the development and implementation of sales and product procurement plans and for supporting the growth of the business through the identification and promotion of products/brands that attract customers and complement the overarching vision of the company.

**Key Responsibilities include the following**:
**Planning & Execution**
- Leads the development and implementation of annual business plans, working with internal and external partners to deliver promptly and on budget.
- Seek out new product offerings.
- Provide product direction for components of the marketing plan including communication, promotions, and placement within the store.
- Performs administrative functions required to manage the portfolio including preparation of regular reports outlining product performance and managing the status of projects.
- Leads the content creation strategy for the brand to inform, educate and engage consumers.
- Support the marketing team with content for social and branded channels.
- Research and interpret market trends, competitive activity, and consumer attitudes and behaviors. Adjust product offering, promotion strategy and marketing programs accordingly. “What’s Trending”
- Analyze brand data (performance, category, and consumer trends, comments, and reviews) and tracks KPIs to report and inform strategy.
- Contribute to setting price, distribution, and sales promotion strategies.
- Collaborate with the Executive General Manager and Director of Marketing to develop the annual marketing budget and effectively manage assigned budget responsibilities.
- 3+ years progressive operations and product procurement experience. Demonstrated success in product/brand management both offline and online, preferably in the food industry.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Superior reporting capability to track, review, and evaluate performance based on sales metrics.
- Highly disciplined, organized, self-motivated and genuinely committed to success.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with a variety of Point-of-sales systems and inventory management tools
- Experience in the grocery or food market industry is a must have.
- Boutique grocer experience is an asset.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$79,500.00 per year
