**Job Posting: Financial Aid Officer**
**Location**: City College, Newmarket
City College is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Financial Aid Officer to join our team. This position is vital in assisting students in navigating the financial aid process, ensuring their access to financial resources that support their educational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Advise students and prospective students on financial aid options, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial aid records and documentation in accordance with compliance regulations.
- Conduct workshops and information sessions to educate students and families about financial aid processes and opportunities.
- Stay informed about changes in financial aid legislation and policies to ensure compliance and provide accurate information.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial aid policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, education, social work, or a related field.
- Previous experience in financial aid administration or a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and provincial financial aid regulations and programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial aid software and Microsoft Office Suite.
