**KITCHEN SALES AND DESIGN**

Due to growth within our company, **we are seeking a Sales and Design person to join our sales and design team in Waterloo**. Our sales and design staff are integral members of the Chervin family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our clients’ dreams to life. Chervin’s sales and design staff bring attention to detail and quality craftsmanship into every Chervin product.

This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Since 1991, Chervin has been **designing, manufacturing, and installing high-end custom cabinetry** in homes across Waterloo Region. Over the years, Chervin has expanded to serve the GTA and Muskoka region. Chervin has also built and acquired 4 sister companies which have given us the opportunity to be a key player in the markets for luxury hotel furniture, residential furniture, custom upholstered furniture, and home décor.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- Professionally represent Chervin and confidently introduce them to our quality products
- Lead homeowners through a solution-oriented process, creating their dream kitchen, bathroom, etc.
- Combine your design and sales experience with the endless opportunities for creativity, function, storage, and workspace within the home or cottage
- Comfortable meeting with clients and contractors/builders on construction sites
- Provide accurate drawings for clients, contractors, and production
- Maintain knowledge of current trends, materials, techniques, and other developments in design
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project requirements are met
- Provide superior service to ensure the customer’s dreams come to reality

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Experience with creative kitchen and cabinet design
- Sales and marketing experience with a knowledge of the key players in home building, design, and renovations in Waterloo and the surrounding area
- Ability to measure and understand limitations of spaces and present solutions
- A proper understanding of blueprints
- Knowledge of the cabinet-building process
- A working knowledge of computers and software
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work
- An enthusiastic personality
- An attitude that is hardworking and eager to learn
- A passion for the core values that are the foundation of our company
- A commitment to punctuality and dependability
- **BONUS**: 2+ years of general woodworking experience (not required)

Work Location: One location
