**Overview**
The Event production team is responsible for the seamless planning and execution of event design, such as awards galas and welcome receptions, with a focus on full décor design and planning, entertainment and AV, ensuring exceptional delivery and client satisfaction. Event production plays a critical role in delivering successful experiences that align with Cantrav’s standards of excellence.
**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**:
- 3+ years of experience in Québec and Montreal with additional experience in Ottawa and Toronto being beneficial
- You’re a great communicator and possess the ability to build long-lasting relationships
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to make smart business decisions, manage logistics, multi-task, and meet project deadlines
- Superior organisation skills with great attention to detail as well as the ability to successfully manage changing priorities
- You produce high-quality work along with a deep commitment to sound logistics and accuracy
- You are at home and proficient on a computer, in a Microsoft environment, Canva, SociaTables and other design software
- Comfort and ability to work beyond 9 - 5. Our client’s events can be in the evenings and on the weekends and we’re there too
- Based in Montreal or Québec city
**Duties**
- Develop and manage event concepts, themes, and timelines in collaboration with clients.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, and transportation.
- Oversee event budgets and ensure all expenses are tracked accurately.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the planning process.
- Manage on-site event execution including setup, coordination of activities, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Evaluate event success through feedback collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance event offerings.

**Fonctions**:
- Élaborer et gérer des concepts, des thèmes et des échéanciers d'événements en collaboration avec les clients.
- Coordonner la logistique, y compris la sélection des lieux, la restauration, les besoins audiovisuels et le transport.
- Surveiller les budgets des événements et s'assurer que toutes les dépenses sont suivies avec précision.
- Communiquer efficacement avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les membres de l'équipe tout au long du processus de planification.
- Gérer l'exécution des événements sur site, y compris la configuration, la coordination des activités et le dépannage de tout problème qui se pose.
- Évaluer le succès de l'événement par la collecte et l'analyse de commentaires pour une amélioration continue.
- Restez informé des tendances et des meilleures pratiques de l'industrie pour améliorer les offres d'événements.
