As we expand our operations, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team and contribute to our success.
**Position Overview**:
As the Cannabis Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cannabis production and distribution. You will lead a team of production staff and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. You will ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of production and packaging processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervising operations within the production team: Plan, organize, and oversee the production process from start to finish.
- Assisting in the onboarding and training of new hires.
- Ensure the productions areas are maintained in a clean organized manner with all activities being accurately recorded and documented.
- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
- Ensure accurate records are kept for production operations, post-harvest processing, extraction, and packaging.
- Manage production scheduling and organization to precisely project all production rooms on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Implement compliant production plans and create standard operating procedures in collaboration with the Production and Quality Assurance teams.
- Develop and maintain facility protocols for sanitation, cleaning, and other procedures.
- Assist with different areas of operations including but not limited to: Indoor and Outdoor grow, Post harvest processing, Extraction, Packaging, and facility maintenance.
- Maintaining communication between production team and various departments to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
**Qualifications**:
- Prior experience in manufacturing, packaging facilities, or related industries is preferred.
- Prior management experience of at least 2 years or more is preferred.
- Experience in cannabis industry is considered an asset.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Valid Drivers License and/or reliable transportation.
- Police check required.
- Must be at least 19 years of age and eligible for Health Canada Security Clearance.
